Sealing the Envelope
Nexus Green Building Resource Center, Boston, MA

Sealing the Envelope showcases three full scale advanced building envelope mock-ups which demonstrate how green products and strategies solve basic building science issues. As Exhibit Design Coordinator, I led a team of architects, green building product manufacturers and builders through the schematic development of this Building Envelopes exhibit. I developed the thematic and educational content of the exhibits and wrote labels which introduces visitors to green building techniques and building challenges concerning air, temperature, moisture and structure. I also provided the graphic design and layout for the graphic typicals to be incorporated into the mock ups.
Project Overview
Integrated Exhibits give Nexus showroom visitors a holistic sense of how green building products work together and how to incorporate them into specific settings such as hospitality, kitchen, classroom and building envelopes. Visitors are able to see, touch and experience green building products in their intended application.
